Are you ready to work on exciting infrastructure projects that make a real impact? WSP is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our Power & Energy Group. In this role, you will be seconded full-time in one of our key programs. What You'll Be Working On You'll contribute to concept and detailed electrical design drafting across a range of projects, including: * Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) * Water and wastewater pumping stations * Wastewater Network Renewal * Reservoir Renewal and Improvements Key Responsibilities * Prepare engineering drawings from sketches, calculations, and specifications * Support the electrical design team in developing project designs * Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure cohesive design integration * Manage project setup and documentation throughout the project lifecycle * Analyse client requirements to ensure all specifications are captured * Apply quality control processes to maintain drawing accuracy and compliance About You * Diploma in Electrical Engineering or above * Experience in a consulting environment (highly regarded) * Strong drafting and detailing skills * Proficient in AutoCAD (12D experience is a plus) * Experience in transmission secondary design and water infrastructure * Skilled in interpreting engineering designs and producing layouts, schematics, and general arrangements * MicroStation experience is advantageous * Excellent communication and collaboration skills Why Choose WSP?
