Description:

About The Role

As the Agile Delivery Lead, you'll directly report into the Head of Quality Assurance. This is a hybrid role that includes a combination of scrum master responsibilities with product iteration planning and project coordination activities required for the successful and smooth running of an Agile scrum squad.

You'll have the opportunity to lead multiple cross-functional agile teams, whilst acting as a champion of the agile framework. As a key contributor, you'll be empowered to builds and define a culture that embraces continuous improvement and strives for excellence.

Responsibilities for the role include:
  • Driving and championing the agile framework to motivate and build high-performing agile teams. This includes coaching your squads, facilitating scrum squad ceremonies and activities, and facilitating key discussions.
  • Working with your key stakeholders to drive product iteration planning for key projects such as setting project and roadmap priorities, coordinating and scheduling work tasks, assisting management of delivering releases and supporting the Product Manager with maintenance activities.
  • Working with a wide range of stakeholders in managing the deliverables in scrum teams, as well as supporting our Chief Delivery Officer and Delivery Heads of in leading and mentoring the squad teams to build a positive culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Effectively facilitate scrum squad ceremonies and activities for multiple teams, including scaled agile collaboration.

About You

You will have all or the majority of the following skills and attributes:
  • Scrum Master certification
  • 3-5+ years' experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Iteration Manager or similar role for a software development team
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent teams with multiple concurrent projects
  • Knowledge and experience in implementing Agile at scale
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Release management and coordination activities experience

Preferred Position Requirements
  • SAFE Agile certification
  • Financial services (specifically Payments) experience.
