Overview

Disability Support Worker Victoria (Wangaratta) - Part-time Permanent Position with Kirinari Community Services. Based in Wangaratta, VIC.

Responsibilities
  • Support people in their day-to-day living and provide quality 24/7 care in supported independent living (SIL/Group Homes).
  • Provide domestic and personal care assistance and help customers connect with the community.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for customers and work across a range of needs.
  • Availability to work a 24/7 environment, including weekends and overnight shifts (generous penalties apply).
  • Position is 35 hours per fortnight.
About You
  • Ability and willingness to work shift work, including sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with substantial availability
  • Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencement
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
  • Smartphone and current Driver's Licence
