This role is within Platform Development and Integration.

What will your typical day look like:

As a Senior Java Integration Developer, you will design, develop, and implement complex integration solutions using Java. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow between applications, driving efficiencies and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of integration solutions using Java, ensuring high-quality implementation.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, documenting solutions and maintaining best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends in integration and microservices, and participate in Agile ceremonies for continuous improvement.

Required interpersonal skills/experience:

• Previous consulting or client-facing roles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfort working in a flexible and dynamic environment.
• Technical certifications are highly regarded.

Required role-specific skills/experience:

• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with Enterprise Integration Tools - Fuse/Apache Camel (preferred), Mulesoft, Boomi, or other iPaaS/ESB tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or OpenShift.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration, such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience with Identity management solutions like Keycloak (preferred), Azure AD, Okta, or ForgeRock.
• Experience with API Management solutions like 3Scale (preferred), Mulesoft, or Kong.
• Knowledge of API design and implementation.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Note: Ability to obtain government security clearance is required for this role.
