We are transforming our established Java-based application by integrating cutting-edge Language Models (both large and small) and Machine Learning techniques to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

The Opportunity: We are looking for an enthusiastic Java Developer, ideally with Python experience, who is eager to step away from the corporate grind and take a leading technical role in a smaller, dynamic environment. With at least 4 years of commercial development experience, you'll have the opportunity to significantly influence technical decisions, be hands-on with implementation, and ultimately enjoy long-term benefits through equity in the company once you've proven your impact.

Your Role:

  • Refactor and enhance our existing Java application to integrate Large and Small Language Models and ML components.
  • Lead technical decision-making and contribute directly to the design, implementation, and deployment of new functionalities.
  • Experiment hands-on with state-of-the-art AI/ML frameworks and technologies.
  • Proactively suggest and implement innovative solutions and approaches.

Ideal Experience:

  • At least 4 years of solid commercial Java development experience, ideally with frameworks such as Spring or similar.
  • Familiarity with Python and eagerness to expand your skills.
  • Basic understanding or strong interest in Language Models, NLP, or Machine Learning.
  • Desire to take ownership and thrive in a smaller, impact-driven team environment.
