About the role

The Administration Officer provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the school office. This role supports school leadership, teachers, students, and parents by maintaining accurate records, coordinating communication, and contributing to a welcoming and professional school environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Office administration
  • Student and family support, including First Aid
  • Financial and resource support
  • Communication and coordination
  • Compliance and record keeping

This full time position (76 hours per fortnight) is term time only (plus 2 additional working weeks for professional development) and is to commence as soon as is practicable.

Requirements
  • Experience in administration, preferably in a school or educational environment.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and school management systems (e.g. Compass, Sentral, Salesforce, uEducateUs), or ability to quickly learn new online systems.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents in a busy school environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding children and upholding child-safe standards.
  • The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team with a solutions-focussed approach that is open to change.
  • Adherence to the SHCS Code of Conduct and compliance with all relevant SHCS Policies and Procedures.
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Devout commitment to live and work in accordance with the Christian Faith and its values.
  • Current WWCC clearance.
