Domestic Property Claims Consultant
In this role you will manage new domestic property claims from clients and establish a pathway to resolve the customers claim. You will also be responsible for handling a portfolio of claims which require dedicated focus and expertise due to the complexity surrounding the claims or customer needs.
What are my accountabilities?
- End-to-end claims management incl. policy interpretation, liaising with stakeholders, settlement negotiation & claim resolution
- Proactively and strategically working with customers on identifying and driving solutions
- Identify and support vulnerable customers providing experience inline with Sedgwick and the clients expectations
- Act as a expert reference point and mentor to your colleagues
- Previous experience managing complex domestic property claims, including but not limited to escape of liquids, break and enter claims
- A comprehensive understanding of the General Insurance Code of Practice
- Strong policy analysis and interpretation skills
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlines
- Exceptional communication, organisational and customer service skills
