Head of Distribution & Investor Relations at OIF Ventures is a senior, high-impact role focused on scaling our capital engine and managing our investor relationships. OIF Ventures is a Sydney-based venture capital firm investing in Australia's most ambitious founders from Seed to Growth stage, with a hands-on approach to supporting founders across hiring, product strategy, go-to-market, fundraising and beyond. We are small by design, high-conviction in our investments, deeply embedded in the startup ecosystem, and partner closely with our LPs.

We are looking for someone to scale our capital engine and investor communications to drive growth across core funds and SPVs in Australia and offshore, expand into new channels, and deepen engagement with our 200+ LPs.

This is a senior, high-impact role that sits at the heart of how we grow and engage our investor community. You'll drive the strategy and execution of how we raise, engage, and grow our investor base. Working closely with our partners, you'll help us raise $100–150M+ per year across core funds & SPVs, expand into wealth platforms and private banks, and deepen relationships with our LPs. You'll also craft communications, events, and experiences that match the calibre of our investors and portfolio.

• Drive capital raising: Lead strategy and execution for fundraising across core funds and co-investment vehicles (~$100–150M/year).
• Expand our network: Identify and cultivate new investor channels—particularly wealth managers and private banks.
• Deepen LP engagement: Build scalable ways to keep our investors informed, engaged, and excited.
• Optimise investor journeys: Develop investor onboarding, reporting, and education processes that build trust and long-term partnerships.
• Run investor events: Organise and host intimate LP gatherings, summits, and touchpoints that create memorable experiences and deepen alignment.
• Share the OIF story: Craft and deliver compelling investor pitches and fund narratives with strong performance metrics.
• Own comms & reporting: Collaborate with investment, finance & legal teams to ensure timely, clear, and high-quality materials for current and prospective LPs.
• Support strategic growth: Partner with the broader team on capital planning and market expansion as the function scales.

• 5–10+ years of experience in capital raising, private wealth, fund distribution, and/or investment sales (VC, PE, or private funds).
• Proven ability to raise capital, particularly from HNWIs/family offices and wealth advisor networks.
• Deep understanding of the investor mindset and what drives LP decision-making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; you know how to pitch and build trust.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple investor conversations at once.
• Good understanding of fund operations, investor due diligence processes, and investor servicing workflows from pitch through to close.
• Strong commercial instincts and passion for startups, with a genuine interest in VC as an asset class.

• Existing relationships across family offices, private banks, offshore capital (e.g., Singapore, US, Middle East) and institutions.
• Familiarity with Fund and SPV structuring and experience working with internal teams on fund documentation.
• Background in finance, commerce, or economics (or equivalent real-world experience).
