About BRAMS

Since 1978, Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) has delivered culturally safe, community-led healthcare in the Kimberley. As an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, BRAMS provides holistic care spanning general practice, chronic disease, maternal and child health, social and emotional wellbeing, NDIS, and aged care. You'll join a supportive, multidisciplinary team making a real difference to Aboriginal community health while growing your career.

Roles

We're seeking passionate Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Aged & Disability Social Workers to join our Allied Health team in Broome.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct person-centred assessments and tailored support plans
  • Provide therapy, intervention, or care coordination services
  • Liaise with families, carers, and service providers
  • Prescribe assistive technology where required
  • Deliver culturally safe, inclusive, and respectful care
About you

To succeed, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) in Speech Pathology, OT, or Social Work
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A commitment to cultural safety and Aboriginal health
  • Adaptability and compassion in supporting diverse clients
Requirements
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Aged Care Key Personnel Check
  • National Police Clearance
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
Benefits
  • Salary range: A$98,000 to A$113,000 per year + super
  • Salary packaging up to A$15,900 p.a.
  • Relocation assistance up to A$5,000
  • Remote Area Allowance up to A$1,300 p.a.
  • 6 weeks' annual leave
