Founded in 1969, Richard Jay is an internationally recognized family-owned business providing laundry, warewashing, and chemical dispensing solutions for hospitality, healthcare, government, and community operations of all sizes.

Due to ongoing growth and a recent company acquisition, this full-time position will join our existing team, delivering laundry solutions to customers across Australia.

The ideal candidate will have experience with general administrative duties, excellent communication and customer service skills, and strong time management abilities. Experience in sales of capital / industrial equipment, logistics, pest control, hygiene, or sanitation services is beneficial. Spare parts experience is an advantage, but we value mechanically minded applicants who enjoy helping others and solving problems.

We seek an energetic, friendly individual with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering premium customer service.

Responsibilities

Maintain high coordination between service technicians, administration staff, customers, and clientsProcess customer requests efficiently and follow up as neededAdminister client service and order information in our computerized system and generate reportsServe as a primary contact for service, support, and spare parts requests from internal and external customers

Requirements

Excellent phone manner and strong written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding customer service skills and follow-up proceduresMethodical approach with great attention to detailExperience with computerized systemsProactive, reliable, and enthusiastic with a 'can-do' attitudeProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM systems is a plus, but quick learners are welcomeAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a team environment
