About the Role

The Systems Accountant manages and improves financial systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and enhanced reporting. They oversee Technology One (Finance) and support other platforms including HRIS, Dynamics 365 CRM, and the Enterprise Data Platform. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while driving system enhancements and data analysis across the business.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain the budget model using advanced Power Query and MS tools
• Administer and support Technology One (Finance), ensuring data integrity and reporting
• Provide user support and manage system access
• Lead finance system upgrades and support related platforms (HRIS, Payroll, D365, Power Platform)
• Drive process improvements and support business intelligence initiatives
• Manage annual system rollover and submit TPAR
• Maintain Finance SharePoint and update financial systems policies
• Support monthly management and annual statutory accounts
• Provide general assistance to the Finance team

About You :

Tertiary qualification in accounting or a related disciplineStrong ERP system administration experience (Technology One highly regarded)Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and data modellingHigh IT literacy with experience in financial systems and processesExperience creating complex budget and forecast modelsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detailEffective time management and ability to prioritise tasksAbility to translate business needs into efficient technical solutionsStrong communicator, able to convey complex financial and technical info to non-specialistsProven ability to build productive relationships with peers and senior stakeholders
