Join the RAC Insurance Claims team and know you are making a genuine difference in the lives of our members Our Claims Specialists are responsible for engaging in telephone and online conversations with our members when they need us most.

We offer attractive working hours structured as follows:

Week 1 – 7.30am – 3.30pm (West Perth Office-based)

Week 2 – 9.00am – 5.00pm (Working from home)

On a daily basis, you will contribute by:

  • Managing an individual caseload of claims through to finalisation
  • Identifying potential recovery actions as part of effective claims management
  • Reviewing quotes and authorising repair costs
  • Negotiating settlements for claims
  • Acting as a technical referral point for internal teams
  • Providing empathy and understanding during complex conversations
  • Consistently delivering service that exceeds members' expectations

What are we looking for?

  • Exceptional customer service skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to gather, collate, and present evidence to make informed decisions
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex processes and decisions to members
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • Self-driven and motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in claims lodgement and knowledge of end-to-end claims process (desirable)
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry (desirable)
