Senior Backend Developer

Work for a global mining client in the Perth CBD

  • Long term role with market rates paid
  • Requires mining/fleet management experience
Our client:

A global mining company established for over 20 years, focusing on green energy solutions.

The role:

We are seeking multiple Senior Backend Developers with strong .NET/C# skills to design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services for various mining and fleet management software projects. This is a long-term project until September 2026 based in Perth CBD.

Responsibilities include:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, and SMEs
  • Conduct design reviews, system architecture, and apply design patterns
  • Lead the technical delivery of complex user stories from design to deployment
  • Mentor junior developers
Key requirements:
  • Recent experience in backend development using .NET Core/C#
  • Experience within mining environments
  • Experience with fleet management / Autonomy solutions such as Minestar and/or Modular
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework, Microservices Architecture, Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Willing to work 5 days in the Perth CBD office
Desirable:
  • Experience with RabbitMQ is a plus
