Full Stack Developer Opportunity

A permanent opportunity is available for a fast-growing product-based business in Western Australia, Australia. The successful candidate will join a collaborative development team, taking on a key role in delivering robust software solutions that support emergency services, non-profits, and service providers across Australia and internationally.

This is a hands-on role with a significant focus on coding, working across both frontend and backend development. We use and TypeScript for the frontend, while the backend uses TypeScript with MongoDB. Experience with AWS is welcomed but not essential. You'll contribute to major rebuild projects, product enhancements, and ongoing production support, while also mentoring junior developers and helping strengthen the engineering capability.

The team has a relaxed, supportive culture with flexibility in working arrangements and a genuine focus on building technology that makes a difference in people's lives. This is a full-time role ideally Perth-based or in a Perth time zone, with three days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver robust software solutions that meet the needs of emergency services, non-profits, and service providers
  • Contribute to major rebuild projects, product enhancements, and ongoing production support
  • Mentor junior developers and help strengthen the engineering capability
Requirements
  • 8+ years of commercial software development experience
  • Strong skills with or React (4–5 years+)
  • TypeScript experience across both frontend and backend (4+ years)
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Willingness to mentor junior developers and share knowledge
Desirable Skills
  • MongoDB experience
  • AWS infrastructure knowledge
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-moving product environment
