Are you a recent or upcoming Engineering or Biomedical Science graduate? As a Manufacturing & Supply Graduate within Opella's Manufacturing & Supply Chain function, you will embark on a 24-month journey designed to develop your leadership potential and technical expertise across key areas of Manufacturing.

This rotational program offers hands-on experience in Production, Lean and Performance, Quality, and Supply Chain, enabling you to build a holistic understanding of our operations.

You will lead and deliver impactful projects that drive operational excellence, enhance product quality, and improve supply chain efficiency. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams and exposure to real-world challenges, you will develop the skills, mindset, and confidence needed to become a future leader in Manufacturing at Opella.

Your 24-month rotation program will include exposure to Production & Warehouse, Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Health Safety & Environment, People & Culture:

• Production & Continuous Improvement: Work with the Head of Production to understand production KPIs, environment and challenges with a view to identifying opportunities for growth & efficiencies across:
• OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
• PCT (Process Cycle Time)
• Change over times
• Labour management
• Deviations
• Safety Reports (SSRS)
• Promote a performance mindset at all site levels through Lean events, standardization and simplification initiatives, priorities establishment and review, recognition system, etc.
  • Work with the Lean And Performance Manager To: Improve processes, coordinate and drive initiatives to develop, implement and sustain cost reduction improvements, in reference to Opella HSE and Quality standards
  • Understand, analyse and develop action plans on the reporting and scorecard reports regarding performance KPIs, OEE, Productivity, Plant Cycle Time, Yields
    • Quality: Use Power BI and data analysis techniques to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
    • Always ensuring all actions taken meet Sanofi and TGA guidelines
    • Acting on any non-conformance appropriately ensuring all goods are in compliance with guidelines
    • Work with the quality team to build a coaching mindset for identifying and providing feedback on quality improvements
    • Be a Quality leader in everything you do
    • Ensuring compliance to Opella Quality Systems
    About You
    

We are looking for Graduates with the following experience and skill sets:

• Undergraduate studies with a background in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Materials, Pharmaceutical or Biological Sciences such as: Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Biomedical Science from a recognised tertiary institution by December 2025

• Work experience across pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or FMCG industry will be considered an asset
• Strategic thinker with commercial outlook
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement across internal and external partners
• Future leader potential
• Clear and compelling communicator, able to translate complex data and technical acumen into accessible narratives
• Autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable leading in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

To be eligible for this role, you will need to be located in Brisbane or Sydney by January 2026.
