Join Opella as a Manufacturing & Supply Graduate to develop leadership and technical skills through a 24-month rotational program in Brisbane.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Participate in a 24-month rotational program covering Production, Lean and Performance, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Lead and deliver projects to drive operational excellence, enhance product quality, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Work with the Head of Production to analyze KPIs such as OEE, Process Cycle Time, changeover times, labour management, deviations, and safety reports.
  • Promote a performance mindset through Lean events, standardization, simplification initiatives, and recognition systems.
  • Collaborate with the Lean and Performance Manager to implement cost reduction improvements aligned with Opella HSE and Quality standards.
  • Use Power BI and data analysis to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements ensuring compliance with Sanofi and TGA guidelines.
  • Act on non-conformance issues to ensure all goods comply with guidelines.
  • Work with the quality team to foster a coaching mindset for quality improvements and ensure compliance with Opella Quality Systems.
  • Gain exposure to Production & Warehouse, Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Health Safety & Environment, and People & Culture.
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Undergraduate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Materials, Pharmaceutical or Biological Sciences (e.g., Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Biomedical Science) completed by December 2025.
  • Work experience in pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or FMCG is an asset.
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial outlook.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Potential for future leadership roles.
  • Clear and compelling communicator able to translate complex data and technical information.
  • Autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable leading in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be located in Brisbane or Sydney by January 2026.
