Senior Accountant - Construction/Design Industry

A client of NOW CFO is seeking a hands-on and motivated Senior Accountant to join their growing organization in Maitland, FL. This is a full-time, onsite role ideal for a proactive professional with a background in accounting operations and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Key Responsibilities:

Manage AR/AP and general accounting operations

Enter and oversee material orders in QuickBooks; track percent of completion

Process payroll for contractors and manage reconciliations (bank accounts)

Handle bill entry, use tax, and 990 reporting

Support project oversight with financial tracking and reporting

Collaborate cross-functionally across departments

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO)

Self-driven, highly motivated, and organized

Nice-to-Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Prior experience with construction or project-based financial tracking

Compensation:

Year-end bonus potential
