Manage medium scale Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) project/s, ensuring successful completion within agreed performance criteria to enable enhanced service delivery.

About The Role

  • Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality, safe services and workplaces.
  • Manage the definition, documentation, and successful completion of a medium-scale project.
  • Promote and ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to deliver quality project outcomes.
  • Manage, monitor, and report on project trends and performance against plans and schedules.
  • Oversee resources, expenses, and capital costs against forecasts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication, and promote the successful adoption of change within the business.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary project team, managing resources effectively.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Proven experience managing medium-scale IM/ICT projects, preferably in healthcare (SFIA Skill: PRMG: Level 6).
  • Ability to develop and manage communication channels and stakeholder groups, facilitate business change decision-making, and implement change (SFIA Skill: RLMT: Level 6).
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2) and ability to advise on project management techniques (SFIA Skill: METL: Level 5).
  • Strong negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and communication skills suitable for complex projects.
  • Experience leading, managing, and mentoring small to medium teams.
  • Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
