Due to unprecedented growth over the last 4 years, there is now an opportunity for an experienced General Manager to join the business and take the reins of a successful, established, and fast-growing manufacturer of concrete sleeper products. We pride ourselves on our quality, high level of customer service, and long-standing client relationships.

Our goal is to become the largest supplier of concrete sleeper products on the East Coast. As part of this plan, you will develop, implement, and manage new manufacturing processes. We are looking for a self-motivated and hands-on General Manager to oversee and implement effective business strategies and programs.

Your entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions will help our organization maintain client relationships, generate new business, increase staff productivity, improve service, ensure sustainability, and meet business objectives.

The General Manager should oversee all business activities, support staff development, enhance efficiency, drive sales, improve revenue, maintain client relationships, enhance the organization's reputation, and achieve overall growth objectives.

About the Position

Responsibilities include allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring excellent customer service, improving manufacturing processes, actively managing contracts and suppliers, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.

About You

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar professional role with a deep understanding of precast concrete products and manufacturing processes.

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related disciplines.

Excellent communication skills, financial acumen, and the ability to prepare management reports.
