As their project portfolio continues to grow, so does their team. This expansion brings an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join them.
Specialising in end-to-end Design & Construct (D&C) projects, our client works across a range of sectors, including Industrial, Education, Retail, and Hospitality, with project values reaching up to $15 million.
The Role
Review and interpret technical drawings, reports, engineering documents, and specifications to ensure project specifications are met.Lead and manage commercial construction projects, overseeing all phases from planning to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to guarantee safety and quality.Supervise and coordinate a diverse project team, including engineers, subcontractors, and labourers, to maintain effective collaboration and communication.Provide regular and accurate financial updates and project progress reports to the management teamCoordinate the necessary steps for obtaining clearances, permits, and client-specific authorisations required for project execution.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering updates on project status, managing deliveries, and resolving issues as they arise.
Experience / Qualifications Required
Stable track record in a Project Management role with a commercial construction head contractorMinimum 5 years in a Project Manager roleA natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike.A trade or tertiary qualification in construction
