Base pay range

A$90,000.00/yr - A$95,000.00/yr

Our client has a large payroll team and hence is offering significant opportunity for internal career progression - this could be into a senior or team lead role, or more specialised into compliance and systems

Description

  • Process high-volume payroll accurately and in a timely manner on Chris 21
  • Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation and healthcare industry standards.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records in accordance with company policies.
  • Calculate and process superannuation contributions and tax obligations.
  • Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency.

Profile

A successful Payroll Officer should have:

  • Previous experience in a high-volume environment
  • A strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive approach to managing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with Chris 21 will be looked upon favourably but not a prerequisite
