Payroll Officer in Melbourne at Logicalis We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Finance Team in Melbourne.
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for handling payroll functions for a team of over 200 employees.
You should have experience managing large payroll operations, with a solid understanding of payroll matters, to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data, and to assist staff and management with payroll-related queries.Responsibilities:Manage full payroll functions including salary, allowances, overtime, and deductions processing.Prepare month-end reports and journals for stakeholders.Complete payroll tax and Workcover calculations.Ensure compliance with taxation laws and statutory obligations related to payroll.Generate yearly and ad hoc reports as requested by management.Requirements:Experience with payroll systems such as Micropay (highly regarded), ADP, SAP, HR3, Chris21, or similar.Experience managing medium-sized payrolls.Knowledge of payroll tax and Workcover legislation in Victoria, NSW, and QLD.Experience dealing with ATO, Centrelink, and superannuation clearinghouses.Experience with Workday is an advantage.Solid experience in a similar role, preferably in the IT industry.Our promise to our employees - Belong, Grow, and Thrive - reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports your professional and personal development, allowing you to balance work and life effectively.Our benefits include:Equal Paid Parental Leave for all primary and secondary carers.Flexible and Focused Ways of Working tailored to your needs.Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, including Employee Resource Groups, DEI training, and mentoring.Investment in leadership and career development through our Grow program, enabling career progression across various roles.About usAt Logicalis Australia, we're driving the future of technology.
