Overview

Artesian Hospitality is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our Head Office team in Surfers Paradise.

This role suits someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and routine and takes pride in getting the numbers right. You'll manage daily reconciliations and provide essential backup support across payroll and accounts payable to ensure smooth business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily revenue and sales reconciliations
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations and resolve variances
  • Maintain and analyse financial data using Excel
  • Perform month-end revenue reconciliations
  • Liaise with internal departments on revenue discrepancies or queries (training provided)
  • Act as backup payroll processor (training provided)
  • Act as backup Accounts Payable processor when required (training provided)
About You
  • Solid background in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Comfortable with repetitive, process-driven tasks
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF formulas)
  • Experience with payroll processing or willingness to learn
  • Able to work independently and within a small team environment
