Dynamic Group Holdings are a supplier of various specialised drilling, blasting and exploration services in the mining and construction sectors across WA.
Our wholly owned subsidiaries include Dynamic Drill and Blast, Orlando Drilling and Welldrill. Across the Group we employ over 300 employees and are going through an unprecedented period of growth and expansion.
About the ROLE
Our Drill and Blast division provides full production drilling and specialty blasting services across the civil and mining industries.
We are seeking the services of an experienced OPERATIONS MANAGER to join the Drill and Blast team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities for the Goldfields Division, ensuring that project outcomes are met through an effective and efficient utilisation of resources (human and capital), in accordance with company objectives.
About YOU
With your approachable and dynamic leadership style, you will have:
- at least 5 years' experience in a similar senior management role within a drill and blast contracting environment;
- a proven background in managing complex projects with successful stakeholder engagement;
- proven experience with management oversight of site based personnel;
- a strong understanding of asset management and inventory management;
- experience ensuring ongoing compliance to Safety and Business Management System;
- experience monitoring site revenue and spend to ensure budget gross margin is met;
- strong computer skills using Microsoft and inventory control software applications;
- sound analytical and evaluation skills;
- a diploma in Frontline Management, Surface Operations or similar;
- current HR Drivers licence (essential);
- a National Police Clearance (essential);
- a current WA Shot Firer's Ticket (desirable);
- Quarry Managers Certification (desirable); and
- Current S26 Certification (highly desirable).
