There are opportunities for Supervisor Mobile Equipment Maintenance across Rio Tinto's Pilbara Mine Operations. In this role, you will provide leadership to your team and actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices, aiming to drive performance, safety, cost, and innovation.

This role is suited for enthusiastic individuals seeking a rewarding frontline leadership position, working with a great team to maintain heavy mobile equipment.

You'll be supported by your leader to grow and achieve your personal and team goals. The work schedule is 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off, providing more time for personal priorities.

Reporting to the Superintendent Mobile Equipment Maintenance, your key responsibilities include:

  • Being an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviors, practices, and processes.
  • Providing safety and technical leadership, mentoring team members, and understanding their strengths to ensure safety and quality work.
  • Completing daily inspections and engaging with your team to develop a safe, efficient work culture.
  • Allocating and coordinating planned maintenance activities following Rio Tinto workflow principles.
  • Prioritizing and managing breakdowns with the mine production team.
  • Driving continuous improvement projects focused on cost savings and efficiency.
What You'll Bring

  • Leadership experience with a successful track record in developing and coaching team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Respect for others and an inclusive mindset.
  • A current Australian manual (C Class) driver's license.
  • Relevant experience in Mining and/or Mobile Equipment Maintenance.
