We're looking for a dedicated MEM Coordinator to join our team based in Welshpool, WA. This role is a key leadership position, responsible for overseeing MEM trade personnel and ensuring the successful execution of mechanical services projects.
About the RoleAs the MEM Coordinator, you will report to the Operations Manager and lead a team of up to 50 trades personnel. Your responsibilities will span across safety, operations, and quality control, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard. You'll be the primary point of contact for client supervisors and play a crucial role in project execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Leadership: You'll be responsible for the team's safety performance and ensuring compliance with all safety processes and procedures.
Operational Management: Oversee and take ownership of all on-site work, manage trade personnel, and effectively allocate resources, including people, equipment, and materials.
Team Leadership: Mentor and coach direct reports, conduct regular 1:1 meetings, and identify training needs to support employee development.
Client Engagement: Liaise with clients including Supervisors and Superintendents to coordinate work and provide thorough weekly handover reports.
Qualifications & ExperienceQualifications: You must have a trade qualification in either of the following fields:
- Mobile Plant
- Auto Electrical
Licences: Hold a current Driver's Licence
Knowledge & Skills:
- You will have previous experience in workshop supervision and extensive experience in mechanical maintenance and repairs on heavy earthmoving equipment.
- We're looking for someone with strong leadership, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
