Aspen Medical is a global provider of innovative healthcare solutions across a diverse range of clients within the Defence, Mining, Oil and Gas, Government and Humanitarian sectors. We are a world leader in the delivery of exceptional healthcare in any setting, particularly those that are remote, challenging, and under-resourced.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Virtual Health Capability Manager to drive organisational readiness for virtual-first care. Reporting to the Director of Virtual Health, this pivotal role leads the design and implementation of capability uplift initiatives across people, systems, and processes. As a key change leader, you will support teams to embrace and embed virtual models of care, ensuring scalable, safe, and patient-centered service delivery across all business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse current virtual health capabilities and adoption, identifying gaps and providing data-driven insights to guide improvements and strategic planning.
  • Develop and implement a virtual-first capability roadmap that aligns with the organisation's Virtual Health strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to embed virtual health capability in operations, logistics, clinical care, and support services.
  • Design and deliver training, frameworks, and practical tools that uplift staff confidence and competence in virtual care.
  • Redesign workflows and processes to meet safety, quality, and compliance standards for virtual service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, IT, Clinical Governance, L&D, and program leads to ensure integration of VH capability across functions.
  • Evaluate capability uplift through effective reporting, risk identification, and performance monitoring.

About You

  • Proven experience in capability development, workforce transformation, or healthcare project delivery—ideally in digital health or virtual care environments.
  • Strong understanding of virtual health models, telehealth workflows, and digital care integration.
  • Outstanding change leadership skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex transitions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare governance, compliance frameworks, and training standards.
  • Qualifications in health, education, business, or organisational development are highly regarded.

What We Offer

  • Full-time fixed-term position with the possibility of extension.
  • Flexible working from home arrangement.
  • Access to 24/7 Employee Assistance Program.
  • Access to employee benefits such as gym membership, and health insurance discount.
  • Collaborative work environment.

Be a part of something bigger. Join a purpose-driven team leading the future of virtual healthcare at Aspen Medical.
