Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting virtual consultations via phone and video for general health concerns, chronic conditions, and acute presentations.
  • Providing prescriptions, referrals, pathology requests, and ongoing treatment plans.
  • Reviewing structured patient histories before consultations to improve clinical efficiency.
  • Carrying out follow-ups and long-term care management, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Supporting a diverse patient base, including individuals in regional and remote areas who may have limited access to in-person care.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Proven experience in telehealth and patient assessment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
