The Global Mobility Services advisory team is a part of the KPMG Workforce Advisory business in Australia and offers both Australian and international tax services to clients. The team has experienced significant growth and is recruiting a motivated Senior Consultant to join their high performing Melbourne based team. Working across all areas of global mobility and related tax matters, the team has a clear focus on providing a high-touch, value-add advisory service to a diverse client portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Consulting in the areas of employment tax, individual tax, payroll, policy, administration and strategic placement to global multi-national organisations as they expand internationally and start to send expatriate employees on assignment.
  • Providing holistic International and Australian tax support to senior executives to assist with their global individual tax compliance obligations.
  • Assisting organisations with managing the tax obligations that arise from the employee/employer relationship, including employment taxes, international payroll and employee share schemes.
  • Working within our wider Workforce Advisory business, alongside a young and vibrant national team with a collaborative culture and strong growth mindset.

Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate timelines, action plans and milestones.
  • A commitment to client service with a proven track record of developing strong relationships with clients.
  • Previous experience working in a consulting practice or executing on both compliance and advisory work for clients.
  • Exposure to tax matters impacting expatriates or employment taxes.
  • Ability to work with large data and strong excel and/or data analytics skills will be favourable.
  • Proven project management skills including experience working across multiple engagements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, supervise and mentor team members.
