Are you an experienced Senior Project Planner looking for your next challenge? Our industry-leading mining sector client is seeking a highly skilled professional to drive scheduling excellence within their portfolio.

FIFO – 4 days on / 3 days

Must be based out of Perth with unrestricted working rights

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement best scheduling processes and practices
  • Portfolio scheduling and reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Utilise Primavera P6 for scheduling, reporting, and portfolio management
  • Establish a standardised scheduling framework across projects
  • Conduct schedule and portfolio analysis (Primavera P6 database architecture knowledge is a plus)
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to P6 users
  • Develop scheduling data and reporting tools

Experience Required
  • 3+years of scheduling experience, including portfolio scheduling and reporting
  • Prior experience in the mining sector is a must
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling tools and their application
  • Experience in project and portfolio management
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across functions

Technical Skills
  • Primavera P6 (high proficiency in scheduling & administrative roles)
  • SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Tableau for data visualisation and reporting

Bonus Skills (Desirable, But Not Essential)
  • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Power BI
