F9 Project Services is a well-established consultancy firm that offers planning and cost-control services to major companies in the construction and mining sectors in Western Australia.
Unlike typical labor hire agencies, F9 proudly positions itself as a dedicated service provider. All staff are employed on a permanent basis and matched to projects based on their skill set.

About the role:
We have some exciting new opportunities for middle to high senior-level Planners for either full-time permanent or contract positions, Perth-based, DIDO, and FIFO depending on your preferences.
You will be offered the opportunity to work with dynamic and experienced planning professionals on prominent projects for our clients throughout Western Australia and beyond.
In performing your duties, you will be able to call upon and be supported by the F9 team of resources and construction industry professionals. Our team comes from a wide variety of professional backgrounds, providing a diversity of experience and insight.
About you:
The successful candidates will have at least 5 years' experience and be confident and self-motivated individuals who are capable of working with a high degree of autonomy, whilst also maintaining a strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity in their work. Candidates ideally should be able to demonstrate the necessary skills through their previous planning and programming experience, including past project-based roles.
The following attributes are also highly desirable:
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software.
- Experience in the delivery of major construction, mining, oil & gas projects.
- The confidence and ability to engage and present to clients at all levels.
- Experience in the preparation and defense of extension of time claims.
- The confidence to work autonomously within a client environment.
- A high level of skill and understanding of contemporary resource-based planning principles, industry safety standards, and various types of construction delivery methodologies.
- At least a basic knowledge of contract law as it relates to time management and claims.
- A sound knowledge of the principles of planning.
- The ability to quickly ascertain a client's planning needs and project requirements.
- Experience in the preparation of written reports.
- Ability to develop and maintain cost forecasts and reporting.
- Able to further develop and maintain existing professional relationships as well as to seek new business opportunities.
Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia. Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide a valid police clearance, attend a pre-employment medical assessment, complete a Drug & Alcohol Test, and provide the details of two professional referees.
