LiveBig is a specialist allied health organisation providing therapy and assessment services for people with disability, including those on an NDIS plan. We provide services at home and in the community and operate across four states as well as nationally via telehealth.
Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Joondalup, WA. You will deliver person-centred behaviour support to individuals with disability under the NDIS, working closely with participants and their support networks to create and implement evidence-based plans that promote wellbeing and independence.
To be eligible for this role, you must hold a tertiary-level education and a PBS Core or Proficient registration with the NDIS Commission. Unfortunately, we cannot consider your application if you do not meet both criteria.
Why you’ll love it here
- Earn a competitive salary that reflects your experience and dedication in our innovative workplace.
- Bonus incentives that reward your hard work and boost your earnings.
- Additional Leave Benefits: Enjoy 4 “You Days” each year—one per quarter—to focus on your health, wellbeing, family, or friends, plus 1 “Paws Leave” day annually to spend with your furry friend.
- Constant Learning & Career Development with a $1,000 professional development education allowance.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to ensure expert support for your mental health & financial well-being whenever you need it.
- Referral Bonus: Refer someone to join our team and receive a generous bonus of up to $3,500 as our token of appreciation.
- And finally – we recognise our teammates and celebrate our wins.
What you'll do
- Develop evidence-informed positive behaviour support plans aligned with individuals' goals and NDIS plans.
- Provide high-quality support in home and community settings such as schools and group homes.
- Use functional assessment tools to conduct physical and interpersonal assessments in various environments.
- Support engagement, emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, and social skills through therapeutic interventions.
- Enjoy full flexibility to complete reporting and administration from home.
What You'll Bring
- Located near Joondalup, north of the river in Western Australia.
- You will have tertiary level education in a relevant discipline.
- Core or Proficient registration with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Ideally, a minimum of 6 months experience in positive behaviour support.
- Hold or be eligible for an Australian driver’s licence, WWCC, and satisfactory police check.
- We’re a vibrant, supportive team who love what we do—and we’re looking for someone who shares that passion.
