About the OpportunityWe're on the hunt for adetail-driven, Procurement Specialistto join ourtight-knit team in Mount Kuring-Gai. If you love keeping things organised, negotiating like a pro, and making sure stock flows without a hitch, this could be your next move.
This role reports to thePlanning & Procurement Managerand plays a key part in coordinating thesupply and inventory of personal care raw materials and packaging itemsin line with our production schedule and forecast demands.
What you'll be doing- Coordinate with suppliers to procure raw materials and packaging as per production requirements and work instructions
- Use ourMRP systemto monitor stock, generate purchase orders, and ensure timely deliveries
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to get the best deals for the company
- Work closely with the Production Planner to align deliveries with the production plan
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, packaging specs, and alternative suppliers
- Manage credit notes and supplier non-conformance issues in collaboration with the Quality Team
- Source new suppliers and request quotations as needed to meet operational requirements
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate deliveries to prevent shortages or excess inventory
- Conductannual supplier auditsin line with SOPs to ensure compliance with quality standards
- At least 4+ years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
- Previous Contract manufacturing experience is a bonus.
- Strong knowledge ofMRP systems, ideally SAP Business One and/or NetSuite
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship skills
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
