Overview

Position: Advertising/Brand Manager

Salary: $90,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

Mode: Full-time

Hours: 38

Experience required: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities
  1. Advertising Strategy Development: Plan, organize, direct, control, and coordinate all advertising activities for the company and its franchise stores; develop and implement comprehensive advertising strategies to meet business objectives across all platforms, including digital, print, and social media; analyze market trends and competitor strategies to optimize advertising campaigns and identify opportunities for growth.
  2. Campaign Management: Design, execute, and monitor advertising campaigns for each franchise store, ensuring they align with the overall brand strategy; create and manage budgets for advertising campaigns, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI; track and analyze campaign performance using metrics such as ROI, conversion rates, and customer engagement to refine strategies and improve results.
  3. Creative Development: Collaborate with the creative team to produce compelling ad creatives, including visual designs, copywriting, and multimedia content; oversee the design and production of ads for various platforms, including websites, social media, email marketing, print, and other media outlets; ensure all advertising materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice and image.
  4. Website and Social Media Management: Assist franchise stores with website design and development, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing online presence; design and optimize social media profiles and content to enhance engagement and brand awareness across all platforms; implement SEO strategies to improve website traffic and visibility on search engines.
  5. Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with franchise store owners to understand their unique advertising needs and tailor campaigns accordingly; coordinate with external vendors and agencies for specialized services such as media buying, video production, and graphic design; liaise with other departments to ensure alignment of advertising efforts with overall business goals.
  6. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify target audiences, consumer behavior, and emerging trends; analyze data and feedback from advertising campaigns to continuously improve strategies and tactics; prepare and present regular reports on advertising performance, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
  7. Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage advertising budgets for both corporate and franchise stores, ensuring effective allocation of resources; monitor spending to ensure campaigns are within budget and achieving desired financial outcomes; provide forecasts and financial reports related to advertising expenditures and results.
  8. Training and Development: Train and support franchise store managers and staff on best practices in advertising, including digital marketing, social media, and design tools; stay updated on the latest advertising trends, tools, and technologies, and provide continuous learning opportunities for the team.
  9. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all advertising materials comply with legal regulations and industry standards; monitor and enforce quality standards for all advertising outputs, ensuring high levels of accuracy, professionalism, and creativity.
  10. Crisis Management: Manage and resolve any issues that arise from advertising activities, including negative feedback, PR crises, or campaign failures; develop contingency plans to address potential risks and ensure a swift and effective response to challenges.
Qualifications

Hold a minimum advanced diploma in advertising, marketing, business, etc.

Other Skills & Requirements
  • Possess a minimum 5 years of experience as Advertising, Marketing or Brand Manager
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English, Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese. Speaking other Asian languages, such as Japanese, Korean, will be considered an added advantage.
  • Experience in the E-commerce industry is a must.
  • Skilled in social media platforms, such as Xiaohongshu, WeChat, Facebook, TikTok; SEO/SEM; data analytics.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player, positive and innovative thinker.
  • Extremely detail oriented with exceptional communication, proofreading and reviewing skills.
  • Exceptional creativity and attention to detail.
