Are you a hands-on technical leader with a passion for supporting and enhancing enterprise systems? A Government agency is seeking an Application Support Lead to take ownership of core business applications that support frontline services, particularly in education and training.

In this role, you'll provide expert support, lead improvements, and collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage application support for key enterprise systems
  • Oversee full software lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing & deployment
  • Provide technical guidance and manage service delivery with vendors
  • Create and maintain detailed technical and operational documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote service management best practices
What You'll Bring
  • Strong experience managing application lifecycles in complex environments
  • Hands-on technical expertise with SQL, .NET, and distributed systems
  • Proven track record of vendor collaboration and service delivery oversight
  • Knowledge of enterprise service management tools and practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Must be based in Darwin, NT
