Overview

Whittles Body Corporate Management is seeking two full-time or part-time (5 days per week, school hours) Assistant Accountants Compliance to join its national accounting team in Dulwich (Eastern Suburbs). The role focuses on supporting managed corporations across Australia in providing accurate and timely financials and compliance.

Base pay range: A$65,000.00/yr - A$70,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Whittles Body Corporate Management. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the National Accounting Manager
  • General ledger reconciliations and maintenance
  • Review of financial statements
  • Preparation of Quarterly GST and BAS for each strata management
  • Preparation of annual income tax returns
  • Preparation of documentation for auditors
  • Liaise with clients and contractors
Skills and Experience
  • Exposure to the preparation of quarterly GST and BAS, completing taxation returns
  • General ledger reconciliation and ability to multitask
  • Time management and solution-focused attitude; ability to work across Australia
Qualifications
  • Tertiary level qualification in accounting
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient and confident in Excel
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
