Location: Stirling, SA

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer

Are you a highly motivated and Mandarin-speaking finance professional with a strong foundational knowledge of financial principles, eager to launch your career? Our client, a startup fintech company is seeking two dedicated Financial Assistants to work directly with their Chief Financial Officer from their Stirling office.

This is a unique opportunity to gain direct mentorship from a CFO, contributing to the growth of a Singapore based business with significant expansion potential within Australia.

About The Role

As a Financial Assistant, you will play a crucial supporting role in the daily operations of the CFO, with a primary focus on assisting international clients and the CFO. This position offers a hands-on learning experience where you will be exposed to diverse financial activities and global business practices.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • International Client Liaison: Communicating directly with international clients, understanding their needs, and providing comprehensive assistance.
  • CFO Support: Providing direct administrative and analytical support to the CFO on a variety of daily tasks, special projects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Administration: Assisting with various financial administrative duties, including data entry, record keeping, report preparation, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Market Insights: Supporting the team in gathering and compiling financial data and market information relevant to international operations.
  • Operational Assistance: Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and client satisfaction.

What We're Looking For
  • Mandarin: You must possess verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin to effectively engage with our international client base.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Financial Acumen: An understanding of securities trading and principles, eager to apply and expand your knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Proactive, Detail-Oriented & trustworthy: A strong ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Entreprenuerial mindset: An interest in being a part of a start up environment.
