Job Description

This role involves providing financial expertise to support the organization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management accounting and experience working with manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes for production operations.

  • Provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions where necessary.

  • Collaborate with production managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting for manufacturing processes.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Perform variance analysis and report on key financial metrics.

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and compliance documentation.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A tertiary degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.

  • CPA/CA qualification (or in progress) is desirable.

  • Immediately Available or available on short notice.

  • Proven experience in management accounting, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (experience with ERP systems like SAP or similar is a plus).

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
