Relationship Officer

Interleasing is part of the ASX listed McMillan Shakespeare Group, which includes our employee benefit business divisions Maxxia and RemServ. We have an opportunity for a Relationship Officer within our Interleasing asset management business. In this role, you will support the activities of the Customer Relationship team to build long-term, effective relationships with customer representatives, aiming to achieve business objectives and deliver superior customer satisfaction.

• Respond promptly and professionally to requests from Customers and Relationship Managers regarding all administrative tasks related to fleet management and business growth.
• Create and provide vehicle quotes to customers, sourcing vehicles and pricing that deliver the best value.
• Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity on expectations, customer satisfaction, and progress updates.
• Ensure administrative tasks comply with business policies, e.g., vehicle registration, credit requirements.
• Proactively manage lease expiry and replacement processes, ensuring contracts are linked appropriately.
• Update contracts with accurate and relevant information.
• Run order reports and follow up with the orders & delivery team.
• Engage with customers to understand their fleet requirements, anticipate needs, and assist the Sales team in business growth.

• At least 2 years of customer service experience in a customer-facing role.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, database management, and MS Office products.
• High keyboard accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in data entry and administrative work involving numbers and detailed information.
• Strong professional oral and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
