What's on offer?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Coordinator to support our Cocos and Keeling Islands Project on a FIFO 2 : 1 roster. The Cocos (Keeling) Islands (CKI) are located 3,000km north-west of Perth in the Indian Ocean, and boast two coral atolls comprising of 27 smaller islands.

In this role, you will assist with project coordination of site induction, flights and mobilisation, safety documentation, reporting, compliance records, and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the projects' safety operations. You will ensure compliance with SWMS, risk assessments, plant inspections, and permits to work and assist in ensuring any hazards that have been identified are escalated to the relevant person to address and close out.

We are ideally seeking :

Previous experience in a construction or industrial environment, ideally in a safety or administrative support role.Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with safety management software is a plus.Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders on-site.Understanding of safety documentation and compliance processes is desirable.A proactive team player with a focus on continuous improvement and safe work practices.
