Project Coordinator Job Description

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth handover of projects to clients.

Primary responsibilities include identifying potential risks associated with the handover process and developing mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.

You will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout the handover process, ensuring all requirements and expectations are met.

Additionally, you will oversee the inspection of completed works to ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and quality standards, addressing any non-conformance issues before handover.

Key qualifications and requirements include prior project coordination or management experience, preferably within civil construction or Defence projects.

Strong understanding of civil construction processes, quality assurance, compliance standards, and handover documentation requirements is also essential.

A proven ability to manage project schedules, coordinate teams, and ensure milestones are met, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes is required.

Excellent communication skills for effective interactions with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, with the ability to resolve issues and negotiate solutions are also necessary.

  • Prior HOTO (handover / takeover) management or Project Management experience
  • Strong understanding of civil construction processes and quality assurance
  • Proven ability to manage project schedules and coordinate teams
  • Excellent communication skills
