The Project

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, comprising John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs, and Ventia, has secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5 km section of the North-South Corridor, contributing to a lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

The project scope includes a 10.5 km motorway, over 4 km of twin three-lane tunnels, road and bridge construction, and complex M&E installations. Open to traffic in 2031, the T2D alliance offers the people of Adelaide an opportunity to be part of an iconic project, with career stability and opportunities for progression and development.

The Role

Based in one of our site offices along South Rd and reporting to the Commercial Manager, your key responsibility will be assessing and processing payment claims, variations, and extension of time requests in compliance with Alliance processes and procedures.

This permanent full-time opportunity involves working collaboratively with Engineers, Procurement, and Subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Additional roles and responsibilities
  • Prepare scopes of work, tender packages, and manage subcontract procurement and negotiations.
  • Maintain project cost controls, contract registers, and reporting systems.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, compliance, and variation claims.
  • Monitor project costs, forecast expenditure, and report risks or cost issues.
  • Interpret project specifications and contracts to ensure accurate delivery of works.
  • Support commercial reporting, progress claims, and general project administration in line with company processes and procedures.
About You
  • Experience in contract administration, procurement, or commercial project support.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, cost control, and project reporting.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with project cost systems and commercial reporting (preferred).
