Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will assist in maintaining a clean and functional working environment. This role supports the kitchen during peak times with potential for casual ongoing work.
Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining a clean and functional kitchen environment.
- Support the kitchen team during peak periods and in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Be available to participate in a 7-day working roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Opportunities to work in our Functions kitchen as required.
- Ability to handle chemicals safely.
- Understanding of a commercial kitchen environment.
- Ability to work around a dishwasher and hot kitchen areas.
- Initiative and a team player with good personal presentation and communication skills.
- Self-motivation and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Moderate amount of weight lifting required.
