What You'll Be Doing

The Registered Nurse uses best practice evidence to deliver person-centred nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team. Provides supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve people-focused quality care.

Selection Criteria
  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Competencies in and knowledge of providing nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective clinical communication through information technology, written and verbal means, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person-centred care with a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care with leadership and change management in care coordination.
  • Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including ongoing professional development and maintenance of competence and skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload with integrity and accountability.

Additional Requirements: Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases (OASV) Category A; compliance with NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015; influenza vaccination proof for NSW staff entering Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs).
