We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Account Executive to lead Commvault's growth across Victoria. You will be accountable for achieving quota by selling Commvault solutions into a defined account list, comprising both existing enterprise customers and high-value prospects within this strategic territory.

You will own the full sales lifecycle and work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and drive multi-quarter sales growth, account penetration, and long-term customer success. Your focus will be on secure software, SaaS, AI-enabled, and cloud-based data protection solutions that support compliance, resilience, and digital transformation goals across regulated industries.

Key Objectives

  • Achieve and Exceed Sales Quota
  • Drive quarterly and annual revenue by securing new wins and expanding existing accounts across your territory.
  • Build Strategic Campaigns and Account Plans
  • Develop multi-year account strategies to win and grow high-potential customers, incorporating performance objectives, financial goals, and customer success metrics.
  • Lead Executive and Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders including SEs, partners, marketing, and executive sponsors to build and close high-value sales campaigns.
  • Position Commvault as the Data Resilience Partner of Choice
  • Demonstrate our leadership in secure, scalable, and compliant data management solutions, integrating AI and cloud capabilities to deliver measurable business value.

How you will make an impact:

  • Sell Commvault's secure software, SaaS, AI-enabled, and cloud solutions through direct engagement and partner collaboration.
  • Develop and implement territory and account plans for long-term expansion and strategic customer acquisition.
  • Build high-value sales campaigns and manage multi-stakeholder buying groups, from technical evaluators to procurement and executive sponsors.
  • Collaborate with SEs, Marketing, Channel, Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams to progress opportunities to successful outcomes.
  • Present compelling business cases and executive briefings that demonstrate Commvault's value in meeting AI, cloud transformation, and cyber resilience objectives.
  • Maintain high levels of activity, pipeline growth, and CRM hygiene to support forecasting and sales operations.
  • Stay current with industry trends in cybersecurity, AI/ML, secure cloud, and digital transformation.
  • Leverage alliances and partners to support joint solutions, accelerate procurement, and expand reach within the territory.

What you will bring:

  • Demonstrated success in enterprise software and SaaS sales to large organisations in regulated or complex industries.
  • Proven expertise in AI, Cloud, or Security solutions, with measurable achievements in delivering business outcomes.
  • Understanding of complex buying cycles, including procurement processes, compliance frameworks, and security requirements.
  • Experience closing six- and seven-figure deals in strategic, consultative sales environments.
  • Strong background in data protection, disaster recovery, or information management solutions.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence CIOs, CISOs, procurement leaders, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with and through channel and alliance partners.
  • Familiarity with structured methodologies such as MEDDPICC or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Operational discipline and experience using tools like Salesforce to manage pipeline, forecasting, and deal progression.
