Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Strategic Account Manager will manage one of PPG's largest national accounts. This $50M+ account requires a high level of engagement with key stakeholders across multiple manufacturing sites. The role involves ensuring reliable supply, strengthening site relationships, and supporting global account strategies with detailed local insights. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact position with significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow the national account, acting as the main contact for procurement, technical teams, product development, and production line management.
- Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely supply of all product lines, meeting strict contractual KPIs.
- Support global account initiatives by providing local insights, relationship management, and operational expertise.
- Identify opportunities for future contract growth, technology improvements, and new solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and performance.
- Strong technical background (coatings, chemicals, adhesives) or related fields.
- In-depth understanding of product application and implications for manufacturing clients.
- Systematic thinker with exceptional attention to detail in data, processes, and client interactions.
- Comfortable handling complex technical queries and product information.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated to develop professionally under global account leadership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels.
- SAP and Advanced Excel skills are required.
- Manage a top performing, strategic global account worth $50M+ in Aus.
