Overview

Talent Forge Australia is partnering with a fast-growing construction technology company transforming how civil contractors manage projects. They are seeking a Civil Engineering Product Lead with real-world site experience who can shape the tools used by contractors nationwide. This role offers a transition from fieldwork into a product-focused position where your on-site insights influence software used by civil construction teams.

Base pay range

A$110,000.00/yr - A$130,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Act as the voice of the construction site within a collaborative product team.
  • Translate field challenges into intuitive, scalable software solutions.
  • Work closely with engineers and designers to test and refine features.
  • Influence the product roadmap with your on-site expertise.
  • Advocate for efficiency, simplicity, and usability in every workflow.
Qualifications
  • 2–3+ years of hands-on civil construction experience (e.g., site engineer, foreman, project engineer).
  • Passion for technology and curiosity about digital transformation in construction.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A systems-thinking mindset with a focus on process improvement.
  • Experience with construction software is a plus, but field expertise is key.
