Overview

As Community and Stakeholder Manager, you will manage development activities for Aula Energy's portfolio of development projects. Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you will lead community and stakeholder engagement for projects and play a key role in ensuring the successful development and delivery of renewable energy projects. You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively to deliver results as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Direct experience with a project developer, utility, energy or infrastructure business performing the community and stakeholder role
  • Build relationships with communities, key stakeholders and First Nations communities, in collaboration with development and construction teams
  • Drive, develop and implement engagement strategies and engagement and social action plans for key stakeholders and communities
  • Lead stakeholder engagement programs, including meetings, responding to consultations, stakeholder mapping and community events
  • Coach and support development and delivery teams in engaging communities and stakeholders
  • 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in the development of onshore utility-scale renewable energy projects in Australia
  • Demonstrated track record in influencing effective community engagement program design and delivery with development partners
  • Monitor and evaluate community and stakeholder engagement across a portfolio of projects to support effective engagement execution
  • Develop project communications collateral and information in collaboration with internal stakeholders, e.g. corporate affairs and communications team
  • Understand sustainability reporting requirements such as GRESB and SFDR Article 9
  • Drive and implement relevant ESG strategies at the project level
  • Lead the use of systems and processes to produce stakeholder insights for each project and across the business
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including local communities, landholders and Traditional Owners
  • Hold a degree (or equivalent) in environmental, engineering, planning, science or business, with excellent project management skills
Qualifications

Direct experience in community and stakeholder engagement within energy or infrastructure sectors; ability to drive engagement strategies; strong communication and relationship-building skills; experience with ESG and sustainability frameworks; relevant degree.
