Join our friendly team in a growing retail business supporting the senior purchasing officer with end-to-end purchasing activities, ensuring continuity of supply and compliance with internal policies.

This is a full-time role at our premises in Brendale within the construction and renovation supply industry.

There is potential for advancement for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining optimal stock levels and an accurate stock masterfile.
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy and availability with suppliers.
  • Ensure quotations are valid and meet internal procurement and risk policies.
  • Liaise with suppliers to evaluate pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Provide site support for ERP queries and assist with invoice matching and discrepancy resolution.
  • Monitor overdue orders and expedite to maintain supply continuity.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in purchasing or a similar role.
  • Experience with Pronto ERP or similar systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; capable of working autonomously.
Additional Information
