1. Check and action purchase requisitions for approvals whilst considering authority limits;
2. Purchase goods and consumables;
3. Administer and manage clothing orders for all blue collar staff;
4. Monitor and resolve discrepancies, shortages and damages relating to received goods and materials;
5. Ensure timely completion and delivery of orders;
6. Compare suppliers to source the best quality product at the best price;
7. Monitor back-order status with vendors and keep the relevant departments up to date regarding progress;
8. Record all purchase orders into Epicor;
9. Create and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers;
10. Organize after-hour deliveries and pick-ups when required;
11. Generate supplier reports and work alongside the Quality team to ensure corrective actions are dealt with;
12. Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor, Production or General Manager.
